We are Zonal Managers and Executive Directors of LIC and represent highest executive posts in the Corporation thru Promotions . A few of us develop political ambitions and become Chamchas of Finance Ministry / Central Govt and thus are selected as MDs and Chairman of LIC . As a policy of Divide & rule , North Block pays
* these political posts ( 3 MDs + I chairman ) salary and perks of 6th Pay Commission
* but to us , ZMs and EDs as per LIC staff regulation which is hardly 30 % of what out counterparts are getting in Central Govt.
We request PM to intervene and constitute a Committee to look into this broad disparity between us (ZMs and EDs ) and these 4 nominees (3MDs and Chairman ) who are amongst us only. These 4 are offering us 17.5% increase which is unacceptable to us as even after wage-revision , our salary will be only 45% of what our counterparts are already getting in Central Govt. We want to make aware Media and Policyholders that
--- Zones and Divisions are headed by us i.e. we are responsible for New Business growth and performance of LIC
-- but if 3MDs and Chairman want us to work at 30% salary , output will also be 30% only !
But as we don't want LIC policyholders and customers to suffer , this is open appeal to PM and public thru media and TV news-channels and esteemed Dailies of India .
